The launch date of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update is getting closer and all leading manufacturers will push out appropriate updates to their high-end smartphones and tablets soon. Motorola is on the first positions alongside with HTC, Samsung and LG. If the first leaks for the last three are known, we know almost nothing as to how the updated MotoBLUR UI will look like. At the moment a bunch of screenshots are spotted.

The source claims this is how Android 4.0 update looks on the Motorola Droid RAZR, but as this handset is identical with its successor except for the battery, so we are sure the update will be available for both smartphones.

Anyway, the overhaul is obvious, as current Motorola users will note the changed camera button, lock screen view, the theme on the dialer, call-in-progress page, the stock app tray and so on.

All in all, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich gives many opportunities to the developers and users. I mean there are many customizable features to play with, so it’s clear why manufacturers are working hard on the updates for such a long time — each of them wants to introduce more attractive UI. I personally believe Motorola’s UI will be the best one.
