Motorola designed the most rugged smartphone in the world, the Defy. I guess all you are aware about it and probably you also know the company has recently announced the updated version of this phone, the Defy+. So, that time some rumors said it will be launched in fall, then we heard we can get our hands on it in September. Now the things are more certain — the Motorola Defy+ will hit the UK market later this month.
Unfortunately, there is no information which carrier(s) will offer it and how much it will cost, but it is expected the phone will be available for free with a two-year contract and data plans starting from £30. Of course, users will be able to get its unlocked version, too, which won’t cost more than £300.
The company didn’t make many changes just updating some important features to make the phone look better. It refers to the 1GHz processor instead of the 800MHz one, Android 2.3 OS and others. But the main features remain the same, so the phone still supports HSPA and WiFi connectivity, GPS and Bluetooth.
The Motorola Defy and the Defy+ are equipped with all necessary features but their key feature is the ability to resist against dust and water.
