The Droid Fighter is rumored to be available on April 12 from Verizon. Previously the manufacturer of the model was unknown. The main guesses included HTC, Samsung and Motorola. But currently the leaked shot of the device makes us conclude the manufacturer of the handset will be Motorola.
The Droid Fighter will be the successor to the Droid lineup models. The novelty will be equipped with a larger display than the current models. It will use a super large 4.6 inch display with 720p resolution, in contrast to the previous 4.3 inch display with a resolution of 540×960. This screen might not be that large if compared with the devices of the competing manufacturers, but it’s still comfortable enough for watching videos.
The rest of specs remain unknown. Among other rumored specs we have Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and support for 4G LTE networks. In addition, the device is expected to have a powerful battery like that of the Droid RAZR MAXX, which is 3300 mAh.
Note that with such specs the device will be definitely available at a rather high price tag.
