At last! Now the Motorola Droid X^2 is available in the U.S. via Verizon Wireless for $199.99 with a two-year contract. The Droid X^2 is the successor of the original Droid X, and we can even say it is the advanced version of that handset.

We had been waiting for this news for a very long time, and there was even a time when we lost hope (joking!). Of course, we were sure the phone will be released in the coming months, but when we learned more about its features, it became impossible to wait any longer.

The Motorola Droid X^2 sports a 4.3 inch qHD touchscreen, a dual-core 1GHz processor, an 8MP camera and a HDMI port. These are the key features of the handset, but there are many other specs that makes the Droid X^2 a really wonderful device. Undoubtedly, it is a high-end smartphone designed for all those who spend a lot of time with their smartphones.

This Android 2.2-powered device should be upgraded to Gingerbread soon, and $200 is quite an affordable price for it. Moreover, the phone can be purchased for $600 without any contract via WallMart, though the full retail price is $449.99. Anyway, I guess you’re not reading these last sentences, you are already hurrying to Big Red stores… :)
