Motorola Photon 4G Getting Small OTA Update

| September 15, 2011 | 0 Comments

The Motorola Photon 4G was launched recently and has already won the hearts of many geeks. That’s not accidental, because the Photon is the current flagship of Sprint and provides high-class performance. Later I’ll introduce you its features, but now I want to inform you that Sprint is pushing out a small OTA update statewide that brings the phone up to version 4.5.1A-1_SUN-154_6/45.2.7.MB855.Sprint.en.US.

Sprint’s Motorola Photon 4G is almost perfect, featuring a 4.3-inch qHD touchscreen, 16GB of internal memory, 1GB of RAM, 2GB of ROM, an 8MP camera with auto-focus and dual-LED flash, which also captures HQ pictures in resolution of 3264×2448 pixels and records HD videos at 720p, 30fps, a 1GHz dual-core processor and a standard 170mAh battery. Plus, the Photon runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It’s really almost perfect, right? But I guess it will become even better when it gets the aforementioned update that fixes some Wi-Fi bugs.

Al you have to do to get this update is to go to Settings -> About phone -> System updates.
