Motorola Photon 4G to be Unveiled on June 9 Event

On June 9 we’ll see the new flagship of Motorola that will be packed with all the best features we have seen in other high-end smartphones of the company. I am speaking about the Motorola Photon 4G that will be launched in the U.S. via Sprint in July.

A couple of days ago we talked about this handset but that time we had only assumptions and there was no official statement. Now some of its key features of the Photon 4G surfaced over the net. Well, the HTC Photon 4G that also has another name, “Sunfire,” is packed with a dual-core Tegra 2 chip, 4.3-inch touchscreen, 1GB of RAM, 8MP camera and others.

The device will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread with the updated MotoBLUR that we used to see in the Motorola Droid X^2. But this is not all — the Motorola Photon 4G will support WiMAX connectivity and GSM network, which makes it a global phone.

Generally, this handset has inherited the best features of the Motorola Atrix 4G and the Droid X^2. If the above mentioned hardware features are similar to the Droid X^2’s ones, but it also provides Atrix-like laptop dock — something we haven’t seen in any other handset.

We don’t know any price details, but it’s OK, since the Motorola Photon will be launched in July, and many things can change till then.
